On March 14, 2023 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zheenbek Kulubaev met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to the Kyrgyz Republic Mr.Sandor Dorogi and discussed the implementation of the agreements following the official visit of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S.N.Zhaparov to Hungary, which took place on February 12-14, 2023.

During the meeting the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Zh.Kulubaev emphasized the importance of the adoption at the level of the Heads of States of the Joint Declaration on strengthening and developing the strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary, which brought the Kyrgyz-Hungarian relations to a new qualitative level of cooperation.

In his turn, the Ambassador of Hungary to the Kyrgyz Republic stressed the importance of further expanding and strengthening the strategic partnership between Hungary and the Kyrgyz Republic.

Along with that the implementation of joint plans for the year 2023 on the development of bilateral economic cooperation with the involvement of the potential of the Hungarian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, preparation of the visits of the leadership of Hungary to the Kyrgyz Republic and the 3rd meeting of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian Strategic Council were discussed during the meeting.
