Farewell meetings of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Erik Beishembiev with the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Mr. Asad Qaiser

​On July 15-16, 2021, farewell meetings of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Erik Beishembiev with the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, and the Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Mr. Asad Qaiser were held.

​The President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi, during the meeting held on July 15 this year, noted the importance of high-level visits exchange, the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the field of trade and culture, stressed Pakistan's commitment to the implementation of the CASA-1000 project on the export of electricity from Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan to South Asia, expressed gratitude to the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan for his contribution to the development of relations between the two countries.

Speaker of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Mr. Asad Qaiser, during a meeting with Ambassador E. Beishembiyev on July 16 this year, emphasized the focus of Pakistan's foreign policy on developing cooperation with the countries of Central Asia, and proposed to cooperate more actively through inter-parliamentary relations.

Ambassador E. Beishembiev thanked the Pakistani side for support during his diplomatic mission in Pakistan, noted the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in the political field, in the trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, the potential of Kyrgyzstan for Pakistani investments, with the aim of joint production and export of goods to the EAEU and EU space.
