On September 11, 2021 in Berlin, representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in the city Berlin together with the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Federal Republic of Germany organized the 10th anniversary football tournament for the Cup of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Federal Republic of Germany to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Independence of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the end of the football tournament, representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Berlin organized a celebratory concert with famous artists from Kyrgyzstan, as well as national foods.
A photo exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of independence of the Kyrgyz Republic was organized by the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Germany, and a small yurt was installed to introduce guests to Kyrgyz culture.
Representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Germany and other European countries took part in the football tournament. A total of 14 teams from various cities in Germany, as well as from the Czech Republic and Lithuania, came to participate in the tournament. All teams took an active part in the football tournament and showed their good sportsmanship. The number of participants was more than 300.
The Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Erlan Abdyldaev gave a welcome speech before the participants of the jubilee football tournament. The Ambassador congratulated all participants and guests of the event with the 30th anniversary of independence of the Kyrgyz Republic and called for further support of Kyrgyzstan and unity.
During the tournament, a table tennis tournament was organised for the first time and winners were determined.
National games such as arkan tartysh, tushoo kesʏʏ and others, as well as various contests and quizzes were organised for guests and children.
A drawing competition on the theme of Kyrgyzstan was organised among children.
Cups in various categories and certificates of merit were awarded to winners and participants in football and table tennis tournaments.
Also in honour of the 30th anniversary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Kyrgyz citizens living in Germany were awarded letters of thanks from the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Germany for their contribution to the development of Kyrgyz-German cooperation, as well as for assistance to Kyrgyzstan in the fight against the pandemic coronavirus.
The football tournament for the Cup of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Federal Republic of Germany has become traditional and popular among Kyrgyz people in Germany and Europe. The game promotes patriotic spirit and cohesion among representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Germany and Europe.
