Kyrgyzstan and South Korea continue dynamic education cooperation during a pandemic

On July 23, 2020, in Bishkek and Seoul, with the assistance of the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Republic of Korea, an online signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was held between the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov represented by the rector Dzhamanbaev M.Zh. and South Korean KonkukUniversity represented by President Min Sanggi.

The moderator of the online signing of the memorandum between the two universities was the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Dinara Kemelova.

The memorandum provides for the exchange of students, specialists and academic materials, the implementation of joint projects and research, and much more.

During the online signing, the rectors of the two universities briefly presented their universities and agreed to cooperate in various fields, in particular in the field of ICT, energy and food industry, and also agreed on the need to continue active interaction within the framework of the signed MOU.

Also, in the near future, it is planned to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbayevand South Korean Konkuk University.
