On October 22, 2022, the VIII futsal tournament was held in Osh among the diplomatic corps of Osh for the Challenge Cup of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Osh, Jalal-Abad and Batken regions (hereinafter referred to as the Plenipotentiary Representation of the MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic). The event was organized by the Plenipotentiary Representation of the MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic  with the assistance of the city Committee for Physical Culture and Sports. 

The tournament was dedicated to the Day of the Diplomatic Service of the Kyrgyz Republic (October 24) and was of a charitable nature, within which funds were raised to provide assistance to the supervised Karasuu specialized boarding school for deaf children.

The teams of the Plenipotentiary Representation of the  MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative  of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Osh region, the City Hall of Osh, the Consulate General of Russia, the Consulate of Kazakhstan and representative offices of international organizations, as well as the Karasuu specialized boarding school for deaf children took part in the tournament.

Welcoming remarks were made by the Head of the Plenipotentiary Representation  of the MFA  of the Kyrgyz Republic Meerimbek Apyshov, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Osh Region Ernist Toltoev, Vice Mayor of Osh Zhasur Azimov, as well as heads of foreign consular institutions.

According to the results of the tournament, the 1st place was taken by the team of the Consulate of Kazakhstan, the 2nd place - by the Consulate General of Russia, and the 3rd place - by the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in Osh region.

The tournament is held annually in order to strengthen friendly relations between employees of the diplomatic corps and state bodies of Osh city and Osh region.
