Head of diplomatic Mission

Erlan Abdyldayev was born on June 21, 1966 in Alma-Ata, the capital of the Kazakh SSR. In 1989 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations majoring in International Relations.

Speaks Russian, Chinese and English.

1989-1989 – Assistant Attaché of the Department for Asian Socialist Countries of MFA of USSR;

1989-1994 – Attaché; Third Secretary of the Embassy of USSR, Russian Federation in PRC;

1994-1997 – Assistant Attaché, Counselor, Expert in International Division of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic;

1997-1998 – Deputy Director of the First Political Division of MFA of the Kyrgyz Republic;

1998-2001 – Deputy Minister, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic;

2001-2005 – Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to PRC; and the Non-Resident Ambassador to Mongolia, Singapore, Thailand;

From 2005 – Expert of the Institute of Public Policy (Kyrgyzstan);

2007-2012 – Director of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting in Kyrgyzstan;

2012-2018 – Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.

From 13 July 2020 – Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany.
