On November 22, 2022, in Berlin, the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Germany O.Ch. Tekebaev met with the President of the Technical Institute of Berlin, Professor Dr. Werner Ullmann. The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute at the Kyrgyz State Technical University I.Razzakov Anipa Usupkozhoeva.

For many years, the Berlin Technical Institute (Berliner Hochschule für Technik) has been successfully cooperating with the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute at the Kyrgyz State Technical University I.Razzakov. Between the two educational institutions, work has been established on the exchange of students, teachers. Within the framework of cooperation, students of the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute have the opportunity to continue their education and improve their qualifications at the Technical Institute of Berlin. To do this, in addition to the relevant knowledge in the chosen direction, students need to have a sufficient level of knowledge of the German language.

During the meeting, the President of the Berlin Technical Institute W.Ullmann acquainted the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic O.Ch.Tekebaev with educational buildings and laboratories, provided information on the activities of the institute, and also expressed readiness for further cooperation.

Ambassador O.Ch. Tekebaev noted that the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute at KSTU named after I.Razzakova in partnership with the Berlin Technical Institute is one of the successful projects of the Kyrgyz-German cultural and humanitarian cooperation. He said that cooperation with the Technical Institute of Berlin is of great importance for the Kyrgyz side in the preparation of qualified personnel in demanded technical professions. Graduates of two Institutes can find a job both in Kyrgyzstan and in Germany.

For reference: Technical Institute of Berlin is one of the leading educational institutions in Germany, specializing in technology-based education programs. The number of students is 13,503, the staff is 787, of which 287 are professors. Professors have not only high academic qualifications, but also relevant professional experience. The use of the latest technologies in teaching and research, as well as the transfer of knowledge and technology between the Institute and companies, form the basis of the Institute's activities. Education at the Institute is conducted in eight faculties on bachelor's and master's programs in a wide range of engineering, economics and natural sciences. In 2004, at the Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I.Razzakov, the Kyrgyz-German Technical Faculty was created, which in 2013 was transformed into the Kyrgyz-German Technical Institute at the above university. To date, the two educational institutions are successfully cooperating in the areas of electrical engineering and mechanical engineering.
