On January 12, 2023, in Berlin, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Omurbek Tekebaev met with the Head of the of Division "Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, South Caucasus and Central Asia" of the Office of the Federal Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Alexander Wallau.

During the conversations, there were plans for 2023 to develop Kyrgyz-German relations on various scales, including the exchange of visits and the sharing of events.

The parties exchanged views on topical issues of the external environment between Kyrgyzstan and Germany, and are also approaching cooperation between Germany and the countries of Central Asia.
