On July 22, 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, in order to maintain constant communication, update data on citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic staying in Ukraine, and provide objective information on the current situation in the host country, organized a meeting with the activists of the Kyrgyz diaspora in Kyiv.
Taking into account the current martial law in the country, our compatriots who refused to evacuate from Ukraine were advised to observe their own security measures, travel with identity documents, refrain from long trips if possible, and strictly act in accordance with the step-by-step instructions previously distributed by the consular department of the Embassy when declaring an air raid alert, as well as follow the recommendations of local competent authorities. As part of the organized event, the Embassy provided all the necessary consular and legal services and consultations. Additionally, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic are advised to refrain from traveling to the southeastern part of the country, to visit other regions of Ukraine in case of urgent need. Kyrgyzstanis planning to visit Ukraine are advised to temporarily abstain until the situation in the country is completely stabilized.
