Meeting of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic Asein Isaev with the Deputy Minister of Defence of India Ajay Kumar.

On October 11, 2022, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in India Asein Isaev met with the Deputy Minister of Defence of India Ajay Kumar.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of security cooperation and military-technical partnership between Kyrgyzstan and India. It was especially noted that the interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and India is effectively developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats. There is a common understanding that the UN should play a central role in coordinating the efforts of the international community in combating the terrorist threat.
Ambassador Asein Isaev emphasized the importance of the joint military exercises "Kanzhar", which are held on a regular basis, as well as exercises under the auspices of the SCO. There is an annual exchange of delegations between the cadets of the Kyrgyz Republic and India, and the partnership through ITEC is also developing very successfully.
Deputy Minister Ajay Kumar highly appreciated the bilateral military-technical cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and India. Supporting the statements of the Kyrgyz side about the high efficiency of ITEC training, he expressed his readiness to consider the possibility of expanding cooperation in this direction.
The parties also agreed to make every effort to hold the first meeting of the Working Group on military-technical cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and India by the end of 2022.
