A farewell luncheon was held on November 7 on behalf of the Minister of State for External Affairs of India, Madam Meenakshi Lekhi, on the occasion of the completion of the diplomatic mission of the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in India Asein Isaev.

The reception was attended by officials of the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, as well as the Ambassadors of the Central Asian countries.

During her speech, Minister of State Meenakshi Lekhi noted significant progress in the development of Kyrgyz-Indian relations over the recent period: the establishment of a strategic partnership between the Kyrgyz Republic and India, the institutionalization of the formation of the India-CA dialogue, the intensification of contacts at the highest and high levels, frequent visits of large business delegations from India to the Kyrgyz Republic and from the Kyrgyz Republic to India, as well as impressive performances by Kyrgyz artists on the theater stages of India.

There was an increase in the interest of Indian business in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, the organization of joint ventures, as well as the implementation of infrastructure and industrial projects. The doubling of trade and economic turnover was emphasized.

Taking into account the high interest of Indian viewers, the Minister of State invited creative teams from the Kyrgyz Republic to take part in international events in India in December this year.

Plans for the short and medium term were discussed both in bilateral terms and within the framework of the India-CA dialogue, as well as the current Indian presidency in the SCO.

It should be noted that the official reception in honor of the completion of the mission of the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to India testifies to the high importance that the Indian side attaches to the development of bilateral relations with the Kyrgyz Republic.
