Permanent Representative Omar Sultanov presented his credentials to Director General of the UN Office at Geneva Tatyana Valovaya

On August 17, 2022, at the United Nations Office in Geneva, Switzerland, a ceremony was held for the presentation of credentials by Mr. Omar Sultanov, Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the UN and other international organizations in Geneva, to Ms. Tatyana Valovaya, Director-General of the United Nations Office at Geneva.

During the ceremony, Mr. Sultanov stressed that Kyrgyzstan highly appreciates the activities of the UN and attaches great importance to strengthening comprehensive cooperation with the UN, based on the principles of partnership and dialogue. He also highlighted Kyrgyzstan's priorities for promoting sustainable mountain development.

Ms. Valovaya congratulated Mr. Sultanov on his arrival in Geneva and wished him success in his activities, and assured that the UN would continue all-round cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
