April 15 – 19, 2019, a week of Kyrgyz culture is held in Seoul during the festival dedicated to the celebration of Nooruz. In the Korean Foundation gallery there are  stands of the national applied art of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Yurt, the Kyrgyz shyrdak, as well as products made of felt and leather, household items and information about Manas hero.

The opening days of the Kyrgyz culture was held on April 15, 2019 with the participation of the dance ensemble "Aiperi". The guests of the gallery managed to enjoy brilliant Kyrgyz dances and dresses of Kyrgyz beauties.

In the framework of the Kyrgyz culture week the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic in South Korea Dinara Kemelova made a presentation about Kyrgyzstan, in particular about the history, culture, tourism and investment opportunities of the country. After the presentation, the Embassy organized a tea party, as part of which the guests were invited to taste Kyrgyz dishes (borsok, chak-chak, sanza, etc.), organic products from honey, raspberries, currants and dried fruits.

On April 18, 2019, within the framework of Kyrgyzstan week, the Kyrgyz diaspora in South Korea will acquaint citizens and guests of the Republic of Korea with the tea ceremony, traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people, and on April 19, the day will be devoted to the Manas epic.

The Kyrgyz culture week will end on April 27-28, 2019 with a big concert on the central square in Seoul with the participation of the Nuska group, designers from the Kyrgyz Republic and demonstration.
