Press release Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan took part in “The Celebration of Diversity” PFOWA Annual bazaar 2018 (November 25, 2018, Islamabad)
On Sunday, November 25, 2018 the Kyrgyz Embassy in Islamabad took part in the annual charity bazaar “The Celebration of Diversity” organized by the Women's Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan (PFOWA) in collaboration with the diplomatic corps accredited in Islamabad.
The event was held with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Mr. Shah Mahmoud Qureshi, Secretary of Foreign Affairs of Ms. Tahmina Janjua, as well as the Chief guest of the event - First Lady of Pakistan, Mrs. Samina Alvi.
The pavilion of Kyrgyzstan, where traditional arts, famous Kyrgyz silk scarves, felt crafts, national garments, as well as traditional dishes of Kyrgyz cuisine were presented, attracted a large number of visitors. The guests were interested in the culture, traditions and customs of the Kyrgyz people and were happy to try the national dishes.
The charity event brought together a huge variety of cultures and became a good opportunity to promote harmony and fraternity among nations.
All funds raised in the bazaar will be donated by the Women's Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan (PFOWA) for charitable purposes.
