On November 23, 2022, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev met with the former Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Muhammad Aamar Aftab Qureshi and newly appointed Additional Secretary H.E. Mr. Syed Ahsan Raza Shah.

During the conversation, Ambassador H.E. Mr. U.Totuiaev expressed gratitude to H.E. Mr. M.A.A.Qureshi for fruitful joint work in organizing visits and events at various levels. He wished the newly appointed Additional Secretary significant successes in further activities. At the same time, he stressed his readiness for comprehensive cooperation with the new leadership of the supervising department of the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan through active work on all topical issues of Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation.

Emphasizing the commitment of the Kyrgyz side to the comprehensive development of friendly and mutually beneficial relations with Pakistan, noted the need to intensify bilateral contacts at the highest and high levels, as well as organize important joint events, including a regular meeting of the Kyrgyz-Pakistani intergovernmental commission on trade -economic and scientific-technical cooperation.

Ambassador H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev outlined the importance of expanding and updating the legal framework of bilateral cooperation in order to increase the effectiveness of joint work between the state bodies of the two countries, especially in such areas as trade, energy, investment, education, science, culture and tourism.

In their turn, Pakistani side informed about the readiness for active joint activities, aimed at the organization of future bilateral events, as well as the comprehensive expansion of Kyrgyz-Pakistani cooperation.
