On December 7, 2022, within the framework of the work carried out by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to promote economic diplomacy, meetings were organized between representatives of the business community of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the leadership of state bodies of the Kyrgyz Republic with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan H.E. Mr. Ulanbek Totuiaev.

The business delegation included representatives of Pakistani and Chinese companies operating in Pakistan in the areas of mining, energy, construction and production of building materials.

During the meeting of representatives of the business delegation with the Deputy Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Almazbek Tumanov, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation in the implementation of joint projects in the fields of mineral resources, geological production, as well as processing of minerals, organizing enterprises for the extraction of natural resources, as well as mutual export-import of various types of products.

As part of the meeting with the Director of the National Investment Agency under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. Umbriel Temiraliev, representatives of the business community were provided with information on investment opportunities, as well as the benefits of opening production facilities in Kyrgyzstan. In addition, the parties shared the views on the issues of enhancing bilateral trade and economic cooperation, including the need to establish close relationships between the business structures of the two countries.
