The Ministry recalls that in accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic dated January 19, 2022, the validity period of the migration amnesty for foreign citizens and stateless persons (the so-called "green corridor") has been determined - March 1, 2022.

For reference: during the period of temporary restrictions related to the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the world, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic adopted Order No. 84-r dated March 17, 2020, according to which citizens of foreign states and stateless persons who are on the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic on a visa and visa-free basis can leave the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic without an exit visa and registration at the place of temporary stay.

Taking into account the restoration of aviation, railway and automobile communication with foreign countries, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic decided to cancel the so-called "green corridor" for foreign citizens and stateless persons from March 1, 2022.

In this regard, foreign citizens and stateless persons who are in the Kyrgyz Republic for various purposes are recommended to leave the country by March 1, 2022 or to issue appropriate documents (visa, registration) for legal stay in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Visas of the Kyrgyz Republic are issued in electronic format through the portal "Electronic visa" (evisa.e-gov.kg ) if there are appropriate grounds provided for by the Instruction on the procedure for issuing visas of the Kyrgyz Republic, approved by the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated March 15, 2017 No. 155.

The Ministry particularly notes that after March 1, 2022, the departure of foreign citizens and stateless persons from the Kyrgyz Republic who have violated the rules of stay will be possible only after paying a fine and issuing an exit visa.

For reference: in accordance with the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, for violation by persons who invited to the Kyrgyz Republic or receiving foreign citizens and stateless persons, the established procedure for their registration and registration of documents for the right of residence, stay, change of residence, as well as timely departure from the Kyrgyz Republic entails the imposition of a fine on individuals in the amount of 10 calculated indicators (1000 SOM), on legal entities - 50 calculated indicators (5000 som).

For violation by foreign citizens of the established order of stay, rules of employment in the Kyrgyz Republic or transit travel entails the imposition of a fine on individuals in the amount of 55 calculated indicators (5500 SOM).
