On March 17, 2022, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan Mirlan Arstanbaev met with the director of the “PLY” company and the “Chikumagawa” economic cooperative Shintaro Katsuya.

During the meeting were discussed the prospects for cooperation of human resources development. Sh. Katsuya informed that the “PLY” company is negotiating with Kyrgyz agricultural institutes and Japanese companies to create a program for students of the above institutes on practicing in Japanese companies. Emphasis will be paid to such areas as viticulture and forestry.

M. Arstanbaev noted that Japan and Kyrgyzstan has big potential for cooperation in many areas, including researching Japanese experience in the development of the agricultural sector. Expressed intention to promotion of these projects.
