On September 22, 2022, the opening ceremony of Tourism Expo Japan 2022 took place at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center.

From the Kyrgyz Republic, the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, travel companies - C.A.T. Company, Central Asia Tours, NoviNomad, Ryan Tour, MDL Silk Road participate in the EXPO.

Within the framework of Tourism EXPO Japan 2022, it is planned to hold a B2B meeting of the business circles of Kyrgyzstan and Japan, a presentation on the tourist opportunities of Kyrgyzstan, as well as a cultural performance with traditional dances, songs and musical instruments.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Central Asian countries and Japan, it was decided to participate in a single stand of the Central Asian countries, with the assistance of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
