On May 13, 2024, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Avazbek Atakhanov received copies of Credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Kyrgyzstan, Mr. Ilham Tuah bin Illias.

Deputy Minister A.Atakhanov congratulated Ambassador of Malaysia on his appointment to the post of Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic and wished his success in her honorary mission. He noted that with the appointment of a new Ambassador of Malaysia, the Kyrgyz side associates the development and further intensification of Kyrgyz-Malaysian relations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the preparation of the organization of the official visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia Mr.A.Ibrahim to the Kyrgyz Republic, the current status and prospects for the development of bilateral relations concerning the intensification of political dialogue, the expansion of trade and economic ties and the legal framework.
