On May 14, 2024, as part of participation in the Credentials Ceremony, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Nepal Mr. Askar Beshimov and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal Mrs. Seva Lamsal.

During the meeting, issues of further development and strengthening of bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and Nepal were discussed.

The parties noted the need to intensify bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, as well as within the framework of international organizations.

The Kyrgyz side expressed interest in cooperation with Nepal in a number of areas, including tourism, education, and exchange of human resources.

In addition, during the meeting parties discussed issues of holding consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and Nepal, signing a Cooperation Program between the foreign ministries of the two countries, agreeing on draft agreements on different areas of cooperation.
