In April 19, 2019 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the the PRC Mrs. Kanayim Baktygulova took part at the presentation of the book “Frequently Used Laws of the Kyrgyz Republic” published in Chinese language by the Chinese University of Politics and Law. The translation of laws from the Kyrgyz into the Chinese was made by the Center of Research of the Central Asian countries of the Northwestern Pedagogical University. The collection includes ten laws: the Family Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on External Migration, the Labor Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Economic Partnerships and Societies, the Law on Investments in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic on Subsoil, the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, The Law on Customs Regulation in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Law on the Licensing and Permits System in the Kyrgyz Republic, the Civil Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The collection is part of a series of collections of legislations of the Central Asian countries translated into Chinese. It should be noted that among the Central Asian countries Kyrgyzstan is selected as the first country to implement the translation of its legislation. This initiative is designed to expand the exchange in the field of management of legislation, strengthening cooperation in legal matters between the participants of the “One Belt, One Road”.

During the event Mrs. Kanayim Baktygulova noted that the Northwestern Pedagogical University had done a tremendous job. This book will help to deepen mutual understanding between the peoples of Kyrgyzstan and China, expand trade and economic cooperation and attract the Chinese investments, since Chinese citizens and investors can find all the necessary information in it.
