Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the State of Qatar participated at the 31st Doha International Book Fair, which was held in Doha on January 13-22, 2022.

The booth of Kyrgyz Republic was represented by the books of the great Kyrgyz writer Chinghiz Aitmatov. The Kyrgyz pavilion was visited by representatives of state bodies of Qatar, as well as heads of diplomatic missions, diplomats, writers, students, etc.

The Doha International Book Fair is one of the largest and oldest book related events in the region and held annually under the patronage of Emir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
