On September 17, 2020, at the Park Hayat Hotel in Vienna, at the initiative of SOCIETY magazine was held Silk Road event. The event was attended by diplomatic missions of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, China, and Serbia, each of which showed a national cultural flavor. In order to familiarize themselves with the history, culture, and customs of the peoples, as part of participating in the event, each country presented exhibition stands of folk applied art with a wide variety of felt products, as well as national dishes.

Representatives of international organizations, the diplomatic corps of Vienna, and other invited guests took part in the event.
