On January 24, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Türkiye Mr. Ruslan Kazakbaev met with the Head of the Kecioren Municipality of Ankara Mr. Turgut Altınok.

During the meeting, the parties agreed to organize mutual visits of delegations of sister cities of Karakol and Kecioren.

In addition, the Kyrgyz diplomatic mission drew attention to the importance of implementing joint social projects within the partnership of sister cities, in particular the construction of schools, kindergartens, and hospitals.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev expressed his sincere gratitude to Turgut Altınok for his active assistance in promoting the unity of the Turkic peoples, in particular in strengthening the Kyrgyz-Turkish cultural cooperation.
