On February 6th, 2019 year the Head of the Plenipotentiary representation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the south of Kyrgyzstan Mirlanbek Ismailov met with Nazira Matkadyrova the coordinator of the program «Promoting sustainable economic development in Kyrgyzstan» of the German society for international cooperation (GIZ) and Abdymomun Umarov the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Osh.

During the meetings, the parties discussed the implementation of the GIZ program for the economic development of the Osh region and ICRC projects in the sphere of health care and improvement of local infrastructure, as well as further planned activities of the GIZ program and the ICRC office

Also, the parties considered the possibilities of cooperation in 2019 to strengthen the economic and tourist potential of the Batken, Jalal-Abad and Osh regions of Kyrgyzstan.

During the meetings, the Head of the Plenipotentiary noted the importance of continuing close cooperation in the implementation of projects in the sphere of economic development, tourism and local infrastructure.
