On 23 April 2024, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Asein Isaev received the OSCE delegation headed by the Director of the OSCE Conflict Prevention Center (CPC), Deputy Head of the OSCE Secretariat Ms.Catherine Fearon.

The parties discussed issues of practical interaction between the Kyrgyz Republic and the OSCE at the meeting.

The Kyrgyz side expressed its gratitude for the visit and the Center’s support for OSCE projects, aimed at strengthening the capacities of law enforcement agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic. First Deputy Minister A.Isaev noted that the Kyrgyz side considers the OSCE as an important multilateral platform for equal and mutually respectful dialogue.

In her turn, Ms. C.Fearon emphasized that the Kyrgyz Republic is an important partner and participating State of the Organization, and also expressed her gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for the constant support of the activities of the OSCE Program office and the OSCE Academy in Bishkek.

The parties agreed on the need to intensify cooperation in all areas of interaction and outlined plans for the near future.
