Visa support is an officially issued invitation of the inviting party, which has been approved by the competent authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic, and sent to foreign agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic or to a visa point at an international checkpoint across the state border, which is the basis for submitting documents for a visa by the applicant (applies in case of the “E-visa” portal’s backup work);

The inviting party submits a written application to the Visa Application Centre of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic (hereinafter referred to as the Visa Centre) for a visa support with the necessary documents specified in Clause 39 of the Instructions

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, in order to obtain a visa support for citizens of foreign states and stateless persons who intend to arrive in the Kyrgyz Republic for private purposes, apply to the Visa Centre and the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic with the application and the documents specified in sub-clauses 9 -10 of Clause 39 of this Instructions.

Foreign citizens who intend to arrive in the Kyrgyz Republic for subsequent individual entrepreneurial activity or for tourism purposes apply to the foreign agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic with the documents specified in sub-clauses 4 and 12 of Clause 39 of this Instructions.

Applications for a visa support to foreign citizens and stateless persons are considered by the Visa Centre within 7 business days from the date, on which the documents were submitted.

The approval of the application for a visa support or the issuance of visas to foreign citizens and stateless persons with the national security authority is carried out within 4 working days. Applications for a visa support or visas for persons under the age of 14 are not subject to approval.

In the case of failure to submit a response by the national security authority within the specified time, the application is considered to be approved positively.

The following documents are submitted to the Visa Centre and the representative office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic for a visa support, depending on the category of visas:

for private purposes:

- application of a citizen of the Kyrgyz Republic;

- completed visa application form;

- confirmation of payment for the provision of consular services;

- other documents specified in sub-clauses 9-11 of Clause 39 of this Instructions.

For other purposes:

- application of the inviting party;

- completed visa application form;

- confirmation of payment for the provision of consular services;

- other documents specified in the relevant sub-clauses of Clause 39 of this Instructions.

Visa support is issued and sent by the Visa Centre/Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic to foreign agencies of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as to the visas office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the international checkpoint.

The issuance of visas to citizens of foreign countries, who are covered by the simplified visa regime is carried out by foreign agencies or the visa point of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the international checkpoint based on the results of the consideration of their personal applications.

Payment of funds charged for the provision of consular services for the receipt and processing of visa support is:

1. Acceptance of documents for preliminary consideration and their registration – KGS 100;

2. Formalization of visa support – KGS 250 (according to the results of approval).
