Conditions of entry and stay of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic in the countries of residence and accreditation, including information about Covid-19

 

Federal Republic of Germany

To enter the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany a Schengen visa is required for  citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic - holders of all types of national passports of the Kyrgyz Republic (diplomatic, service and regular passport).

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of general civil passports, need to make an appointment by contacting the “Visametric” visa center in Bishkek.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the Federal Republic of Germany introduced a ban and restrictions on the entry of foreign citizens into the country. From June 11, 2022, the restrictions on entry into Germany due to the COVID-19 pandemic have been tentatively removed without exceptions. Proof of vaccination, proof of recovery or proof of tests are no longer required to enter Germany.

In Germany, masks in medical institutions and in public transport remain mandatory.

Due to the dynamic nature of infections, entry rules are subject to change depending on the global situation.

Kingdom of Sweden

For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of all types of national passports of the Kyrgyz Republic (diplomatic, service and regular), a visa is required to enter the territory of the Kingdom of Sweden.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of civil passports, should make an appointment by contacting the “Visametric” visa center in Bishkek.

There are no restrictions on entry into Sweden related to COVID-19. Entry rules may change depending on the pandemic situation.

Kingdom of Denmark

For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of all types of national passports of the Kyrgyz Republic (diplomatic, service and regular passport), a visa is required to enter the territory of the Kingdom of Denmark.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of general passports, have to make an appointment by contacting the “VFS Global” visa center in Russia.

From May 16, 2022, due to the personnel shortage, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Denmark in Moscow has temporarily suspended receiving of applications for visas and residence permits to Denmark, except for official visits.

In the period prior to the resumption of admissions for obtaining short-term visas and residence permits, it is necessary to address visa application centers of other countries. The list of VAC can be found here: https://um.dk/en/travel-and-residence/where-to-apply.

Further updates on the resumption of admissions should be monitored on the website of the Danish Embassy in Russia and the Visa application center (the Danish VFS centers in Russia).

The general COVID-19 restrictions no longer apply in Denmark. However, on board aircraft, citizens may be required to have a COVID-19 certificate and an EU-recognized vaccination certificate, and when visiting nursing homes, social institutions, and hospitals to meet face mask requirements.

Kingdom of Norway

For citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of all types of national passports of the Kyrgyz Republic (diplomatic, service and regular passport), a visa is required to enter the territory of the Kingdom of Norway.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of civil passports, should make an appointment by contacting the “Visametric” visa center in Bishkek.

From February 12, 2022, all restrictions related to COVID-19 have been eliminated in Norway. Masks and social distancing rules have also been removed.

Republic of Poland

To enter the territory of Poland it is necessary to obtain a visa for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, holders of regular passports.

Citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic can apply for a Schengen visa at the Swiss Embassy in Bishkek for a short trip to Poland.

Applications for a national visa must be submitted to the Consulate General of Poland in Almaty.

From March 28, 2022, all restrictions related to COVID-19 were removed in Poland.
