On February 6, 2024, in Munich, a meeting was held between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev with the Member of the Landtag (Parliament) of Bavaria Roland Weigert.

Ambassador O.Tekebaev informed Landtag deputy R. Weigert about the socio-economic development of Kyrgyzstan, current issues and events within the framework of Kyrgyz-German cooperation.

R.Weigert positively noted the democratic development of Kyrgyzstan and emphasized the importance of intensifying economic relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, issues of developing cooperation between parliamentarians of Kyrgyzstan and Bavaria were also discussed.
