On February 7, 2024, in the city of Kam, Federal State of Bavaria, the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany, Omurbek Tekebaev, took place at the presentation of a project for training qualified personnel from Kyrgyzstan in the District of Kam, Federal State of Bavaria. The project is being successfully implemented on the Kyrgyz side by the Public Association “Innovative Development” and on the German side by the Employment Agency of the Kam District in Bavaria.

As part of this project, since September 2022, 20 students from Kyrgyzstan have been undergoing three-year vocational training in the Kam district in the areas of gastronomy and hotel business, medicine and elderly care, metal and electrical industry.

The event was attended by the Head of the Kam district, Franz Leffler, Member of the Board of the German Federal Employment Office Vanessa Ahuja, heads of regional and district offices of the Bavarian employment departments, representatives of local media and various organizations in the Kam district.

Ambassador O.Tekebaev in his speech noted the importance of joint training of qualified personnel in various areas and proposed to continue cooperation in this area not only in Bavaria, but also with other Federal States of Germany.

The head of the district, Kam F. Leffler, expressed satisfaction with the level of knowledge and German language of students from Kyrgyzstan and expressed his readiness for further cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.

Member of the Board of the German Federal Employment Office Vanessa Ahuja said that this successful project could become an example for other German Federal States in cooperation with Kyrgyzstan on attracting qualified personnel from Kyrgyzstan to Germany.
