On April 25, 2024, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Federal Republic of Germany Omurbek Tekebaev and the deputy of the German Bundestag, acting. Chairman of the Committee for Economic Cooperation and Development of the Bundestag Christoph Hoffmann.

During the meeting, a constructive exchange of views took place on issues of current Kyrgyz-German cooperation, regional cooperation and international issues.

Ambassador O.Tekebaev noted the close cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany in many areas of interaction, and also expressed gratitude to the German side for successful cooperation within the framework of development policy over the years of cooperation.

The parties also discussed issues of further interaction, including the organization of visits, and noted the great potential for cooperation between the two countries in various areas of the economy and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
