On May 25, 2022, Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Romania with residence in the city of Kyiv met with the Rector of the Polytechnic University of Romania M. Costoiu.

During the meeting, M. Costoiu spoke about the history of the creation of the university, which is now included in the first category of Romanian universities in education and research, TOP-50 European universities, one of the largest universities in Romania, with 15 faculties, about 30 thousand students.

The Kyrgyz Party noted its interest in cooperation with the University and expressed its readiness to assist in establishing communication with the universities of Kyrgyzstan.

During the meeting, the Romanian Side expressed its readiness to provide free quotas for applicants from Kyrgyzstan this academic year.

The university has also expressed interest in participating in the annual education fairs in Kyrgyzstan.

An agreement was reached to work out draft contracts of the specified University with interested universities in Kyrgyzstan before the start of the new academic year.
