On April 18, 2022, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine held an iftar for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic residing in Ukraine.

Speaking with a welcoming speech, Ambassador I. Kadyrkulov congratulated on this holy month of Ramadan for all Muslims and the upcoming celebration of Eid.

Special attention of citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic was drawn to security issues, compliance with the order of movement in wartime, as well as migration and border regimes.

The event was organized taking into account the martial law and curfew in the country.

In this connection, only certain citizens living on the territory of the Kiev Regional Military Administration, as well as other regions (Lviv, Odessa), who purposefully arrived in Kiev to resolve consular and legal issues at the Embassy, were able to take part.

Diaspora activists expressed their gratitude to the Embassy for the ongoing work aimed at uniting and supporting the citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who are in difficult conditions on the territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, the Embassy reiterates that due to the extended martial law, active hostilities and the ongoing threat to life and health, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine operates a round-the-clock hotline for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic staying on the territory of Ukraine at the telephone number: 068 139 67 92.
