On June 14, 2023, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic I. Kadyrkulov met with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Ukraine, Mr. Seymur Mardaliev.

Ambassador I. Kadyrkulov congratulated his Azerbaijani colleague on his appointment to a responsible diplomatic position in a difficult period and stressed that today bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan has reached the level of strategic partnership.

This is also evidenced by the results of the meeting of the Presidents of our states S.N. Japarov and I.G. Aliyev with the holding of the Interstate Council, held in October last year in Bishkek.

The parties expressed hope for the soonest stabilization of the situation in Ukraine.
