On September 20, 2023, on the margins of the 78th session of the UNGA, Foreign Minister Zheenbek Kulubaev met with Assistant Secretary of the United States Mr. Donald Lu.

During the meeting parties discussed key issues and prospects for the development of bilateral relations, strengthening of interaction between the Kyrgyzstan and the United States on topical issues on the bilateral agenda and within the framework of the regional platform "Central Asia + USA".

In this regard, parties discussed the outcomes of the C5+1 Summit with highlighting the importance of implementing the agreements reached between the Heads of state.

Minister Kulubaev emphasized the interest of the Kyrgyz side in attracting American companies with new technologies in the fields of green economy, energy, transport infrastructure, digitalization, as well as strengthening cooperation in the field of education.

By the conclusion parties confirmed mutual willingness to continue the dialog on a wide range of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
