On October 27-28, 2023, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Ukraine, with additional accreditation in Bulgaria, Romania and Moldova, paid a visit to Sofia, Republic of Bulgaria.

A consular service was organized for citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic. The full range of consular services and legal consultations was provided. Particular attention was paid to the protection of their rights and interests and the problems faced by citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic who are in labor migration in Bulgaria.

The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic also held meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Bulgaria. Current topics were discussed and further steps were agreed to expand Kyrgyz-Bulgarian cooperation in all areas.
