On September 4, 2019, Ambassador Miroslav Niyazov met with UN Mission Deputy Special Representative on political affairs Ingrid Hayden at Kyrgyzstan Embassy at the initiative of the latter.

In the course of the meeting, parties exchanged views regarding the situation in Afghanistan and progress of Afghan peace process.
