Faculty of Foreign Languages, the Kyrgyz State University, 1985;

Working experience:

Mr. Turdakun Sydykov joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in 1993 and since then he held the following positions:

1993-1995 – Head of regional Consular agency;

1995-1996 - Third Secretary, Consular Department;

1996-1999 - Attaché, Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Iran;

1999-2002 – Second Secretary, First Secretary, Counsellor, Department of Eastern Countries, Asia and Pacific, First/Head Political Department;

2002-2006 – First Secretary, Counsellor, Charge d’Affaires, Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Iran;

2006-2008 – Counsellor, Department of Eastern Countries, Asia and Pacific;

2008-2012 – Counsellor and Deputy Permanent Representative, Permanent Mission of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Nations, New York;

2012-2013 – Director, Human Resources Department;

2013-2015 – Director - Official Representative, Department of Information;

2015-2019 – Minister-Counsellor and Deputy Ambassador, Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland;

July 2019-September 2019 - Ambassador-at-Large-Minister’s Counsellor;

September 2019-September 2020 – Director, Department of analyses, planning and coordination of foreign policy activities;

September 2020-June 2021 - Head of the Foreign Minister’s Secretariat-Ambassador-at-Large-Minister’s Counsellor.

June 2021-present - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Islamic Republic of Iran, Permanent Representative of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO), Tehran.

Knowledge of foreign languages: English – fluent; Persian and Turkish – at a conversational level, can read and write.

Marital status: Married and has two children.
