The Kyrgyz delegation was led by the First Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Mr. Nuran Niyazaliyev, and the Iranian delegation - by the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, H.E. Mr. Abbas Arakchi.

During the intra-MFA consultations, two sides have discussed a wide range of issues including the current state and prospects of expanding cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran in bilateral and multilateral formats as well as issues related to the international agenda and the regional security.

The parties stressed the importance to further intensifying bilateral relations, in particular, intensifying inter-parliamentary ties, strengthening trade and economic, investment, transport and cultural-humanitarian cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
