On January 19, 2024, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Avazbek Atakhanov met with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Kyrgyz Republic Golamhossein Yadegari.

During the conversation, the parties discussed current state of bilateral relations, organization of visits at the highest and higher levels and holding of regular   political consultations between Foreign Ministries of two countries in Bishkek.

Deputy minister A. Atakhanov noted the importance of further strengthening of bilateral trade and economic relations and promotion of mutually beneficial projects in transport, agricultural, logistics, tourism and other areas.

In conclusion, they confirmed their readiness for further development of the political dialogue and boosting of trade and investment cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Iran.
