On 3 May, 2024 in Prague at the invitation of the Honorary Consul of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Czech Republic Saadatkan Daminova an official reception was held to mark the opening of the Honorary Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Czech Republic.

The reception was attended by the Deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic K.Samakov, Vice-Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Parliament J.Bartosek, official representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, government bodies of the Czech Republic, Ambassadors of Kazakhstan, Turkey and Azerbaijan to the Czech Republic, as well as compatriots living in the Czech Republic.

During the reception the Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Czech Republic with the residence in Vienna T.Makeyev, Honorary Consul S.Daminova, Deputy Director of the Department of Asian countries and Pacific of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Patrick Rumlar made welcoming speeches and informed the participants of the event about the main achievements of the Kyrgyz-Czech cooperation during the establishment of diplomatic relations, agreements reached and joint activities of the parties to further deepen bilateral relations, as well as the role of the Honorary Consulate in this context.

The Honorary Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Czech Republic prepared musical performances of folklore music, excerpts from the epic «Manas» for the guests, demonstrated videos about the natural beauty and tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan, and also offered a variety of dishes of Kyrgyz national cuisine.
