On August 16, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Kuwait Azamat Karagulov presented his credentials to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. 

The solemn ceremony was held at the Bayan Palace with the participation of the ambassadors of the Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Korea, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and the Republic of Cyprus.

During the meeting, H.H. the Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Sabah congratulated Ambassador A. Karagulov with the beginning of the diplomatic mission and expressed appreciation with the dynamics of the bilateral relations development between the two countries.

Ambassador A.Karagulov conveyed to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Sabah the greetings of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic S. Japarov and noted that the Kyrgyz side attributes great importance to the development of bilateral cooperation with Kuwait in all areas of mutual interest. In this regard, he assured that he would make his efforts to strengthen and expand the Kyrgyz-Kuwait relations.

At the same time, the parties stated that Kyrgyzstan and Kuwait are linked by fraternal historical and cultural ties, which are currently characterized by systematic development in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
