The Kyrgyz Republic and the State of Qatar attach great attention to cultural, tourist, humanitarian and charitable cooperation.

The both sides making active efforts to implement the provisions of the Agreement on Cooperation in the Field of Education and Scientific and Technical Research between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the State of Qatar, the Agreement between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the State of Qatar on Cultural Cooperation, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Tourism between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the State Qatar, Agreement on Mutual Cooperation and Exchange of News between the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the State of Qatar, the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy named after Kazy Dikambayev of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar.

In May 2017, the Days of Culture of the State of Qatar in the Kyrgyz Republic were successfully organized. It is planned to hold Days of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic in the State of Qatar through the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Information of the Kyrgyz Republic. Work is carried out to develop cooperation in the field of tourism and attracting Qatari tourists to the Kyrgyz Republic.

A lot of work is carried out to popularize the culture, traditions and history of the Kyrgyz people, as well as attract attention to the World Nomad Games. Successful interaction was established with the international media network Al-Jazeera. Video films about the Kyrgyz Republic and its tourism potential in the Arabic language were demonstrated on Al Jazeera Arabic. In general, seven videos with regular repetitions were broadcast over the course of one week.

Special attention is paid to the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the great Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov. In Doha, a literature evening "Aitmatov Readings" was held, the feature films "Sayakbai" and "The White Steamer" were shown, books of the writer translated into Arabic were actively distributed. In order to establish practical cooperation in the scientific, technical and educational spheres, negotiations were held with the Minister of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar, the President of Qatar University and the Director of the Diplomatic Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar. A visit of the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic to Doha and a working visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of the State of Qatar to Bishkek were held.

The humanitarian and charitable cooperation is actively developing. Meetings were held with the leadership of the largest Qatari charitable organizations, as a result a number of important joint social projects were launched in the Kyrgyz Republic. During the visit of the Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar in May 2017 much attention was given to deepening cooperation in the social and humanitarian sphere, in particular, attracting assistance in overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and providing humanitarian assistance to vulnerable segments of the population of the country. Grant assistance to the Foundation for the Development of Spiritual Culture "Yyman" was provided in 2018.
