Ambassador Chyngyz Eshimbekov took part in the tree planting ceremony held on March 21, 2021, at the Doha airport park. This action is part of the activities of the so-called "Plant Million Trees" initiative, adopted by the government of the country as part of the commitment of the State of Qatar to the Paris Agreement. The initiative aims to promote biodiversity, improve air quality and reduce gas emissions.

The Ministry of Municipality and the Environment of the State of Qatar has launched a special website https://www.mme.gov.qa/static/million-tree to support the "Plant Million Trees" initiative.
