On 27 February, 2024 Marat Nuraliev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the State of Qatar was received by Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti, Minister of Transport of the Qatar Development Fund. 

The parties discussed current issues of further development of bilateral cooperation, in particular, the opening of direct flights between the two countries, as well as projects to improve infrastructure. Several projects were submitted to the Qatari side for consideration during the meeting.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on mutual coordination on the issues discussed.
