On March 19, 2022, a celebration of the National Holiday Nooruz - was held at the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary Mr. Kushchubekov Talantbek.

The concert program consisted of a performance by manaschy David Kara Somfai, a Hungarian academician of linguistics and ethnography. Additionally, Kyrgyz national songs were performed by the Kyrgyz students residing in Hungary.

The celebration was attended by guests from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, the Representation Office of the Organization of Turkic States in Hungary and the Magyar-Turan Fund. More than 200 people attended the event.

The guests were offered Kyrgyz national food at the end of the event.
