On February 11, 2022, a Kyrgyz-Hungarian videoconference was held on the Potential of the Tourism Sector in the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary.

The conference was attended by the representatives from the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Tourism Agency of Hungary, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic to Hungary, WizzAir Group aviacompany and over 20 private travel agencies from the Kyrgyz Republic and Hungary.

Representatives of the participating partners opened the conference with a welcoming speech. Slideshows on tourism potential in Kyrgyzstan and Hungary were presented. During the conference, associations of travel agencies of the two countries shared information on their activities in the sphere and on range of services they offer. Also, during the conference, the companies had the opportunity to communicate questions and responses to one another and to exchange contacts for further cooperation.

This event contributed to the development of the Kyrgyz-Hungarian cooperation in the field of tourism and gave impetus to the promotion of the tourism sector between the two countries.
