On May 9, 2019, in honor of the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the representatives of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Switzerland took part in the ceremony of laying wreaths at the mass grave of Soviet soldiers who died during the Second World War.

The event is organized by the Embassies of the CIS countries in Switzerland on an annual basis in order to honour the memory of Soviet soldiers who fell during the Great Patriotic War and were buried in Switzerland. The event was also attended by veterans of the Great Patriotic War and representatives of the former Soviet Union countries.
