On November 22, 2022, the Geneva Higher School of Music and the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Switzerland organized a concert of the creative group of the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Art named after Bubusara Beishenalieva - manaschi Samat Kochorbaev, singer Elzar Oskonbaeva, flutist Kutmanaaly Sultanbekov and komuzchi Bek Alagushov.

The program of the live musical concert included reading excerpts from the Manas epic, performing Kyrgyz national works with virtuoso playing of traditional musical instruments. The bright one and a half hour performance of Kyrgyz musicians did not leave indifferent any spectator who got acquainted with the culture of Kyrgyzstan with interest.

After the concert, a buffet was organized, where dishes of Kyrgyz cuisine were served. During the buffet with the participation of representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora and the diplomatic corps in Geneva, discussions were held on the past concert and cooperation between Kyrgyz musicians and their Swiss colleagues.

In addition, on the same day, the rector of the Kyrgyz State University of Culture and Arts Mr. Mamasharip Chotonov met with the headmistress of the Geneva Higher School of Music Ms. Beatrice Zawodnik. After discussing the issues of interaction between the two musical educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland, the parties signed the Memorandum of Cooperation for the development of joint projects, student exchange, research and other activities.
